Getting Comfortable Getting Upside Down

In this playful and supportive workshop, we’ll explore the building blocks for forearm stand and handstands — two of yoga’s most empowering inversions! You’ll learn how to safely activate your shoulders, core, and breath, while working progressively toward Pincha Mayurasana and Adho Mukha Vrksasana with confidence and care. Once you figure out how to correctly stack your bones upright and have a solid foundation to work from, you will have the tools to work on these challenging and fun poses during your regular practice. Whether you’re new to inversions or refining your practice, this is a space to build strength, trust your body, and surprise yourself—no matter your age or experience level. We will warm up, and dive right in. Open to all levels who want to learn!
